Last Friday, Sjoerd Vocking said his goodbye to his studio at
@shebangamsterdam in a spectacular way with an amazing light show called Ride or Die. Unfortunately I was unable to attend that Friday. But he repeated the show last Sunday for a small group of people, so fortunately I got the chance to see it after all.
As a bonus, we got another mini-concert from
@yah._ahm_ , a young cellist from Syria who just recently moved to the Netherlands. And the amazing dancers from House of
@bodega.nl were also present for a photo shoot and gave a great performance!
Sjoerd’s work includes everything between art and architecture, always with a sustainable approach. In the two years that Sjoerd had his studio at this location, he has had beautiful collaborations with various organizations in Amsterdam Southeast:
