Yesterday, my Dear Grandma left this earth to become the beacon of light that’ll guide my Family.
Mama Coco gave us everything that was available to her, while teaching us things that would shape our lives and ourselves as whole human beings.
Her love for Music and Poetry was an constant in her life. She was a mother of 10 kids, and a hard worker with a tremendous love for life, like I have never seen.
She dreamed to be an artist, telling me stories about her childhood and how she used to admire the ladies on the tight wire when the circus came to town. She sang songs to us during parties, always with her tequila.
I take with me the knowledge that she confessed to me…. “I lived thru you, in every stage, with every clap, with every costume, with every character that you do”…
That’s what I take.
And with every show that I’ll do, it will always be yours Mama Coco…
Te amo♥️
#repost from @marathonpilates MEET MARCELA 💫
You may have seen Marcela subbing in on classes this spring, but she's officially on our schedule on Fridays with an ABA class at 1pm, Level I class at 2pm and a Level II class at 3рт. ✨
Marcela is originally from Mexico City, but moved to the US when she joined Cirque Du Soleil as a dancer and acrobat. 🌟
After suffering from labrum tears in her hips, she discovered Pilates, a huge part of her rehabilitation.🤍 Marcela got certified in Pilates by the D.K. Body Balancing Method in 2007 and moved to Nashville last June.🎉
She is super happy to have found a studio like Marathon Pilates and its amazing community and looks forward to growing as a Pilates teacher, dancer, mother, wife and human being. ✨ Everyone give Marcela a warm welcome and pop in for one of her Friday classes!
