Going from desk to big screen in 6 months is beyond comprehension for me and truly couldn’t have happened for me without the insanely talented creatives I had the pleasure to work with and being trusted to bring it to life through hair and makeup design was an honour!

Being a finalist at Tropfest 2026 was an incredible milestone, but the highlight for me will always be the collaboration behind ‘I’m Still Here.’ From our very first meeting, the talent and creativity of this team blew me away.
A massive shoutout to our writer and director @cathodsouza and our producer @raeannechami , you created such a special space to create in. I still find myself talking about those two days of shooting even now.
The amazing talent @blessiejemimah@crunchy.peanutbutter had me awe daily, the raw talent these women have is incomparable.
A huge thank you to the entire cast and crew, the lighting and sound teams, and everyone who let us into their space and put their heart into this project along side us.
Every detail on screen is a testament to the wider team’s dedication. you all made those 48 hours an absolute joy.
