3. Been trying to find God in the flashes of light between the trees. Heard 8 different bird sounds. Tried to meditate but it was hard. Filmed on the train in Melbourne and the Sherbrooke forest.

Hola 𐙚 ‧₊˚ ⋅ Very happy to show you part of the documentation from our latest VideoClub edition in Berlin: "There is no cloud, there is always someone else's computer" In this edition, VideoClub showcased videos that critically engage with technology, the non-neutrality of algorithms, and the idea of "digital battlefields." We seek to challenge the logic of consumption and devastation, and to reflect on how the "digital" —as stated by Code Ecologies - School for Poetic Computation— is falsely perceived as virtual or immaterial. In reality, "cloud computing" does not happen in the clouds: it relies on massive data centers, cooling facilities, fiber optic cables, mineral extraction, electronic waste, and other physical infrastructures. This edition was co-curated by @vixitx and @perliiitas . The event was sold out! And in fact we had to open a parallel screening in the venue's lobby. Special shoutout to Chris Cameron @swagchaser2025 who gave us an interesting talk about the consequences and material realities of AI use and data centers. Thanks to all the artists that shared their works with us and to @spore.initiative that invited us, especially to Simon and the team that supported us that evening. Thanks to @safari_lani for the amazing photography documentation. Stay tuned for the next editions ☆∘˚˳°

We are happy to share that our interview with @gabriella_achadinha has been published in The Jungle, the latest 2025 magazine from @studio_saudari . The magazine delves into socio-political themes, the pitfalls of neoliberalism, circus state, environmental collapse, heterotopias, and growth/decay dynamics. In this interview, we discussed anthropocenic forms of extractivism and colonialism, as well as the ritualistic nature of gathering and the importance of meeting in real life in a post-COVID context. We explored the differences and nuances between experimental video art scenes in South America and Europe, and discussed the rise of neofascist governments that are affecting our ecosystems and cultural environments. Being featured alongside such important artists like Cecilia Vicuña @ceciliavicuna , also from Chile, means a lot to us. We would like to give special thanks to all the collaborators who have been supporting Videoclub throughout these years, and to all the video artists who have been sharing their works with us from around the world. The VideoClub team for this interview consisted of Belén Mallol @perliiitas , Vicente Barriga @vixitx , and Carolina Ovando @errortemporal . Special thanks to @gabriella_achadinha for the opportunity to participate in this important project, and to Thérèse Anna Rafter @thereseannarafter for the product images! 216 pages/ no advertising/English If you want to get your copy, you can purchase it through the Big Cartel link below:
