Spring in Zurich right now... 🥶 Just kidding, but it sure feels like winter came back! We also just wanted to show off these pretty snow pictures as a throwback. However, don't worry — the forecast for next week looks a lot better. But maybe some of you prefer the colder season?
💡 Did you know? We have a thing here called "Die Eisheiligen". These are name days dedicated to so-called ice saints that take place in May. That's when Mamertus, Pankratius, Servatius, Bonifatius, and Sophie come to visit and bring the last cold wave of spring. There's even a farmer's saying that you should not sow your seeds before cold Sophie is gone.

Have you ever been to Ufnau Island? 🏝️ It's Switzerland's biggest island and located on Lake Zurich! To get there, you can either take a scenic boat ride (2h) or take the train to @rapperswilzuerichsee and get on the boat there (total 1h).
Here are our tips for your next Lake Zurich outing:
🌳 Take a walk and wind down. There's no rush hour here. Instead, you will find beautiful nature and even a vineyard!
🍽️ Enjoy local cuisine at @inselwirtschaft.ufnau . We recommend the crispy fish bites, the truffle fries, and their mega mille-feuille.
🗿 From May 22 to Oct 18, there will also be a public art exhibition by @artufnau to explore.
