The Friars Aylesford Priory is honestly one of the best places in Kent to see wisteria, and it’s in bloom right now (end of April 2026)🌸 The priory dates all the way back to the 1200s and is still home to a small community of Carmelite friars today. It’s completely free to visit (you can leave a suggested donation) and you can wander through the gardens, medieval buildings and quiet courtyards at your own pace☺️ In spring, the wisteria drapes across the old stone walls and archways, and it’s soooo pretty.
