This week, the Tourism Team had the pleasure of heading out on a famil to Whitton Malt House and Southern Cotton Gin. Highly recommend you add this to your weekend plans! We had the chance to check out the Whitton Malt House's exciting new caravan park and facilities, while also learning more about their future plans for the precinct. What an asset this is for the region! The Southern Cotton Gin was amazing to witness whilst in action! We took a behind-the-scenes tour of this world-class ginning facility. From specially designed viewing platforms, we got to see the process up close and learn about the local industry from seed to bale. It is so great to see these guys continue to invest into tourism experiences within our region, creating even more reasons for visitors to stay longer and explore all that Griffith and the surrounding areas have to offer.
