During PULLING FAVORS #001 we will showcase one hundred uniquely assembled explorative zines made from a wide variety of materials and formats. Digital photographs from a massive archive are extracted into tangible collages – patched together, fragmented and layered to trigger unexpected associations. Created with a mischievous energy for you to delve into and examine.
After previously collaborating on @mjuboys merchandise, Vinc Gertoberens, Stefan Hoeferlin and Hannes M. Meier have now developed a joint workflow coming from a place of no fear.

Stallion Season for @__smlr new single „2016“
This project had to be completed quite quickly. We had a few days to develop the idea, but most of the work was done in a single day. We initially started with a nighttime beach environment and gradually transformed it into a more forest-like scene with Blair Witch Project–vibes, following the artist’s direction. The entire scene was created in Blender and additional VFX were edited and added in After Effects.

I met Vince a little over two years ago while working on the OBEY x @healingtales capsule and again collaborated with him for the release of his work GAIJIN EYES last year. A big thank you for all the creative input throughout this time and the many good talks. Both him and his work are one of a kind.
