The 79th edition of the #CannesFilmFestival starts tomorrow… and before the red carpets fully unfold, the festival’s next rising names are already being spotlighted through the Trophée Chopard. Isabelle Huppert will pass the torch to Odessa A’zion and Connor Swindells this Friday, May 15.
We’ve already been seeing a lot more of Odessa, and she’s definitely one of the names exciting us right now. We can’t wait to see more of both her and Connor Swindells’ projects now that their stars will inevitably shine even brighter thanks to the Trophée Chopard.

In 2019, under the creative direction of Anthony Vaccarello, #SaintLaurent Rive Droite was created. A space where art, culture, and fashion collides… a heaven on earth for creatives. Rive Droite means “Right Bank” in English. But the name goes back to Yves Saint Laurent’s revolutionary Rive Gauche line from 1966, which helped democratize luxury fashion. The Left Bank in Paris, was geographically a space for bohemians. 53 years later, Vaccarello mirrored that spirit on the opposite side of the city. Bringing art and culture into the luxurious world of the Right Bank. And the Yin found its Yang.
