Big news for my fan! Super excited to announce that I’ll be doing my second solo hour “Papa Dumb” as part of the Second Annual Tokyo International Comedy Festival!! My show date is exactly one month from today (Sept. 19). For anyone who came to my solo show last year, this will be a different hour, with almost no overlapping material. Almost none, I say! Like 93% all different. This time I’ll be talking amongst other things about being a new, incompetent dad, along with my usual silliness and maybe even a couple songs. At Tokyo Comedy Bar in Shibuya. Let’s pack this muhfuh out!!! The Tokyo International Comedy Festival is presented by Baird Beer. It’s the largest festival of its kind in Asia! This year we’ll have over 100 performers putting on over 60 shows across nine venues. We have comedians flying in from around the world, including Lebanese-Palestinian-Syrian-Italian-American sensation Sammy Obeid to open the festival with several shows (not all of which have sold out... yet), plus several champions from the roast battle world for our Roast Fest weekend. A ton of amazing shows! I’ll be on a bunch of them. I strongly recommend getting the Festival Pass, which gets you access to almost all of our 60+ shows. To get the pass, you pay ¥5000 for the first show you reserve, then all subsequent shows you reserve are just ¥500 with the pass (plus Happy Hour shows are free!).
