We’ve reconfigured our @sonycine FX6 camera-A and B packages recently. Package A is built to be your fully rigged workhorse ready to tackle anything production may demand. Built off a dovetail and ready for wireless whether you’re operating from a tripod or using an Easyrig.
Package B can absolutely hold its own but may be a little more nimble. Rigged with a smaller 5” monitor, DJI RS3 tripod plate, and easily removable V-Mount plate, package B could be gimbal ready in a matter of moments. We also find the balance of this rig is lovely to hand hold.

If you ask me, the new @atlaslensco Mercury Series of lenses with their set 1 and now set 2 are the new standard for small and professional grade anamorphics. They spare no expense on build and their image is truly special in too many ways to describe in words. It’s visual and visceral, and you can take them anywhere.

I’ve got the Burano in on loan from Sony as they’ve supplied us with a few cameras we needed to shoot an upcoming travel episodic with that I look forward to telling y’all about as soon as I can.
Yes, the Burano is larger and heavier than the FX6 but it’s not by much and, if you’re looking for it, think for most FX6 users, the Burano is a seamless upgrade into 8.6k, IBIS, and XLR on body.
