Throwing it back to another impactful
@cafekyiv_berlin , with a round of thank-yous to everyone who made it possible! 🙌
Cafe Kyiv has become a powerful expression of energy, passion for freedom, security, and recovery. It is an honour for us to be part of this incredible gathering, centred on a topic so integral to our work.
This year, we were proud to host two additional events, as a bridge to Cafe Kyiv, providing space for deeper discussions and reflections with our community and partners.
1️⃣ Prelude: Ukrainian Civil Society Organizations—Resilience in Motion. This event was hosted one day prior to Cafe Kyiv, where we launched the
@civilsocietytoolbox and shared some insights from our
@vidnovaprogram .
2️⃣ Together with our partner consortium, we contributed to the
@cafekyiv_berlin program with a panel discussion on war veterans reintegrating into civilian life. Despite personal struggles and trauma, Bohdan, Andrii, Oksana, and Anton are actively working towards the reconstruction of the country and shared powerful messages of resilience. We are deeply grateful for their presence and for being a testament to the bravery of the Ukrainian people!
3️⃣ Closing: Brunch with Veterans part of the
@vilnoprogram , hosted the following day after Cafe Kyiv.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined, visited our info stand, and connected with us—we’re keen about the new encounters and conversations! Special thanks to our partners
@boschstiftung for their presence and generous support, our colleagues from Ukraine
@insha_osvita_community , and our colleagues from German organizations strongly connected to Ukraine
@crisp_berlin ,
@open_platform_berlin and
@ukr_alliance .
Lastly, thank you
@onlinekas for hosting Cafe Kyiv. We hope to see you all again next year! 🇺🇦
