"O CULTO" is a cinematic meditation on this question, exploring the balance between our thirst for understanding and our need for spiritual connection. Through the Romeiros pilgrimage in the Azores, the film juxtaposes nature's power with intimate rituals of devotion, inviting viewers to reflect on the true meaning of spirituality and the enduring power of faith. Fragments of visually inventive pictures, shattering sounds of electronic music mercilessly flowing from loudspeakers, and blurred frames of interactions, inaccessible to us, only intensify the mythicized character of ZONA.
