Wisteria House - Complete
A complete renovation with @christinaprescottdesign transformed this mid-century home from a series of fragmented, enclosed rooms into a light-filled, open plan living environment creating a contemporary, airy home that celebrates its landscape setting while retaining the character of its original structure.

Tree House — Design
A truly challenging site brought to life through a rigorous design process challenging the accepted norms to create a meaningful response to place.
Tree House is carefully calibrated to engage directly with the surrounding tree canopies, to create and filter eastern morning light, allowing the house to read as embedded within the landscape rather than separate from it.
Innovation lies in the project’s sectional complexity and its ability to deliver a sense of openness and generosity within a constrained footprint, demonstrating how modest sites can support ambitious, light filled design through precise planning and thoughtful design.

Hill House — Complete
Hill House is a considered transformation of a modest 1940s single storey bungalow into a contemporary two storey family home that responds sensitively to site constraints and its surrounding environment. Located on a tight urban site, the project prioritises spatial efficiency, daylight access, and meaningful engagement with landscape.
The design strategy centres on a landscaped internal courtyard and a series of double height volumes that draw natural light deep into the plan while establishing visual and environmental connections across both levels. A cathedral ceiling over the kitchen and dining space creates a generous communal heart, reinforcing spatial clarity and enhancing passive light and ventilation strategies.
Sustainability is addressed through adaptive reuse of the existing structure, reducing embodied energy, and through careful orientation, sectional design, and operable openings that promote cross ventilation and reduce reliance on mechanical systems. Landscaping is integral to the architecture, tempering the microclimate and strengthening the relationship between inside and out.
Innovation lies in the project’s sectional complexity and its ability to deliver a sense of openness and generosity within a constrained footprint, demonstrating how modest sites can support ambitious, light filled architecture through precise planning and thoughtful design.
