Our @viewrail Flight Stack staircase has become the centerpiece of our home, the first thing you see when you walk in, and something that completely sets the tone for the space.
From the floating structure and seamless treads matched perfectly to our floors, to the ultra-clean glass railing, every detail was thoughtfully designed by @JamesEdwardConran and the team. And the integrated lighting completely changes the mood of the whole house while still feeling incredibly practical.
Our custom #Viewrail staircase is easily one of my favorite design decisions we’ve made. Sculptural, functional, and now somehow even a midnight snack run feels cinematic!

We’ve been installing a system from @viewrail , and I’ve got to say: it’s been far easier than expected. We shot a full video for Build Show detailing the process. If you’ve ever hesitated to work with non-local fabricators, I get it — we’ve stuck local for years for exactly the same reason. I know the guy. He’s nearby. If there’s a hiccup, he’s on-site tomorrow.
But Viewrail was amazing. Their system was so dialed-in that even though the parts looked intimidating straight out of the box, once we reviewed the mock-up they sent, everything clicked. We were placing panels right away and everyone was on the same page. I think we have changed our minds on things. Stay tuned for that Build Show video for the final product on this one. Also, it looks amazing over top the @kebonyusa decking. Can you tell I am pumped about this deck?
