What a beautiful evening immersed in the soul-stirring bandishes rendered by Pandit Satyasheel Deshpande. A true mine of knowledge in North Indian classical music, he wove melody, wisdom, and tradition into an unforgettable experience. His pearls of insight, sprinkled with stylish humor and delightful anecdotes, made the evening not just enriching, but deeply memorable. #indianclassicalmusic #kumargandharva #Razafoundation #culture

“The Last Mughal" was a heritage music-theatre experience presented by Saregama Carvaan Luxe (@saregama_official ) in association with the Sabhyata Foundation (@sabhyata_foundation ) and powered by Aadyam Handwoven at Delhi's Red Fort. It blends historian William Dalrymple’s (@williamdalrymple ) narrative on Bahadur Shah Zafar with Vidya Shah’s (@vidyasinger ) live vocals to evoke the 1857 Mughal court. Through William Dalrymple’s narration and Vidya Shah’s live vocals, the world of Bahadur Shah Zafar and the final years of the Mughal court felt less like a chapter from the past and more like a conversation unfolding in the present. What made the experience memorable was not just the scale of it, but the audience it brought together — people willing to spend an evening engaging with culture thoughtfully, collectively, and with curiosity. For Aadyam Handwoven, supporting spaces like these has always been part of a larger cultural commitment. Textile traditions do not exist in isolation. They have always moved alongside music, literature, performance, and artistic exchange. Keeping craft relevant today also means investing in the wider cultural ecosystem that gives these traditions meaning. That night at the Red Fort was a reminder of something simple but important: history continues to matter when it still has the power to gather people in the same room, holding their attention together. #CultureBeyondTextiles Aadyam Handwoven: A corporate social initiative of the Aditya Birla Group, works with handloom weaving clusters to create a self-sustaining ecosystem for the finest artisans of the country by supporting & selling their crafts to impact their quality of life.

The chaos backstage, the nervous smiles, the little details, the moments before everything came alive ~ every bit of it meant something to us. ✨ A little behind-the-scenes from Symphony of the Unheard. Some evenings entertain. Others shift the way people engage with culture altogether. "The Last Mughal" was a heritage music-theatre experience presented by Saregama Carvaan Luxe (@saregama_official ) in association with the Sabhyata Foundation (@sabhyata_foundation ) and powered by Aadyam Handwoven at Delhi's Red Fort. It blends historian William Dalrymple’s (@williamdalrymple ) narrative on Bahadur Shah Zafar with Vidya Shah’s (@vidyasinger ) live vocals to evoke the 1857 Mughal court. The experience transformed a historic monument into a living archive of art, emotion, and storytelling. For Aadyam Handwoven, supporting platforms like these is part of a larger commitment that goes beyond textiles. Craft, music, storytelling, and artistic dialogue have always existed together within India’s cultural landscape. Keeping that ecosystem alive means contributing not only to what we wear, but also to the conversations and experiences that define contemporary culture. And everyone who joined us that night chose exactly that. To reconnect with stories that still shape who we are. In a world constantly chasing what’s next, this gathering reminded us that history and culture continue to matter — because they still bring people together. #CultureBeyondTextiles Aadyam Handwoven: A corporate social initiative of the Aditya Birla Group, works with handloom weaving clusters to create a self-sustaining ecosystem for the finest artisans of the country by supporting & selling their crafts to impact their quality of life.

Not every cultural evening manages to feel relevant in the present tense. “The Last Mughal” did. Saregama (@saregama_official ) in association with Sabhyata Foundation (@sabhyata_foundation ) powered by Aadyam Handwoven brought "The Last Mughal" to life at the iconic Red Fort (redfort.india) alongside Vidya Shah (@vidyasinger ) and William Dalrymple (@williamdalrymple ) Opening the event, Manish Saksena (@manish.saksena ), our Business Lead, spoke about the importance of creating conversations around heritage that feel current, accessible and lived-in — not confined to memory or museum language. The focus wasn’t just on revisiting history, but on understanding how art, craft, music and storytelling continue to influence the way we see identity today. Aadyam Handwoven believes that culture is not confined to one form of art—it is an amalgamation of expressions. #CultureBeyondTextiles was born out of this philosophy, a celebration of the many facets of Indian heritage. Through this initiative, Aadyam extends its reach beyond textiles to embrace music, dance, literature, food and other art forms that share the same ethos of preservation and storytelling. It is a reminder that culture is not static but a living, breathing entity that evolves with time, always anchored in its roots.
