Round two of the Art-O-Matic mini print vending machine is officially LIVE, folks! We’re super stoked to present a fresh batch of bebe artworks by a flock of incredibly talented local artists, featuring @ee.inked , @ha.ley.brown , @homework_letterpress , @lonelycoyote.co , @niconicohumby , @stephanie.illustrates , and @yuchenbeliveau . Each artist was asked to interpret the theme “better days ahead” with their artwork, which was then risograph printed in Canada by our friends @videpress . Each print costs only TWO LOONIES, and as always, 100% of the proceeds from this project will go to supporting an emerging vendor at the fair next season. Check it out @shopyegarts until April 3, and then @shiddys from April 4 to May 8! Raid those piggy banks and bring your dollars, birdies!! 🐦

Our Riso Swatch Book and Sample pack are finally here, packaged as two handheld, spiral-bound booklets!
1. Our Swatch Book features all 35 colours available at Vide Press. Each colour is printed in 10% gradations as well as a continuous gradient. Each colour is also printed at a 71 LPI dotscreen resolution and as a stochastic FM screen called Graintouch. The book is split down the middle between 71 LPI and Graintouch, so you can flip through the swatches and compare colours side-by-side. Bound with Neon Yellow spiral coil.
2. Our Paper Sample Book showcases our core paper selection and demonstrates how the slight transparency of Risograph inks can add another dimension to the available colour palette when coupled with different coloured papers. This section features all 35 of our available ink colours printed in 7 gradations each on 30 different paper samples.
At the end of this book is a double length section of Photo & Overprint Examples featuring 14 two-colour examples, 7 three-colour examples, and 4 four-colour examples of the same two photographs, as well as helpful gradient and overprint charts for each colour combination used. All of these samples are printed at 91 LPI. This section showcases the range of gamuts and colour balance you can achieve with different colour combos when converting and printing photography or artwork with Risograph. This is all bound together with Bubblegum spiral coil.
