March 2025. When the utes swings and contracts. A recent-ish movement research considering the effect the muscular contraction & release the uterus has on the body and its capacity to express. This is a very free aesthetic approach since being mostly unimmersed in any particular discipline since maternity and living with injury. The result- a lot of past disciplines coming thru in little pieces. I was breastfeeding during this time and was without my cycle, which allowed me to feel a certain degree of pelvic liberty that I haven't known since adolescence. A notable feature of pelvic liberty, in my experience, is dynamics and intelligence of the legs and feet as the legs are not bound to their locked proximal pelvic articulation. This was during @tangentedanse 's LabDiff series. Soundtrack is from Crack Magazine's audio stream.
