Some of my best shots form the Shaw Classic 2024.
Aside from wanting to show off my camera work, the main thing I wanted was to have the viewer feel like they're apart of the moment, to feel the intensity that was present in the air that weekend. Thanks again for @fullstrength.ai for giving me the opportunity to capture this. All handheld, all manual focus, all me.

The Shaw Classic, August 2023 & 2024
I've been taking a lot of photos on film for the passed year and a half. I find the limitations of lil 35mm point and shoot creatively engaging. It's also a cool look. Now if only I would remember to get my film developed :'(
1. The cameraman rarely gets photos/videos of himself. I'm also not one to take selfies so that doesn't help.
5. What a way for Brian Shaw to retire. The stadium was roaring when he won. This man deserves all the adulation and more. What an incredible moment to witness.
6 & 7. Colorado's beauty is ineffable.
Thanks to @fullstrength.ai for the opportunity to film another documentary at this amazing event.
First and last photo of me with a fish I'll post LMAO.
I liked these too, they just didn't all fit on the other post. The fifth one is the Mississippi River in Natchez. It's really hard to take in it's sheer size. No wonder it was/is the most important waterway in American history.
Destin 7/15-19, 2023
Disposable fujufilm camera.
I just picked up an Olympus MJU ii and some Kodak 400 Ultramax. Boston and Destin gave me an appreciation for film cameras. I've never really been one to pull out my phone and take a picture. I feel it takes me out of the moment, and I'll never look at them anyway.
Using a little point and shoot, where the only option is 'flash', is nice. Now I can test my creativity and feel pretentious while doing it.
Shot this earlier today. Happy with how it came out.
This is for a documentary I'm working on about an ai-based weightlifting coach. This moment hit home for me. Delt with some mental health issues the last couple of year; I'm appreciative for all the growth I've had since then.

Shaw Classic 22'
(August 2022)
Never got around to posting these. Mental wasn't in a good spot at the time.
Colorado was a surreal experience. I was able to combine two of the activities I love the most; lifting and filmmaking.
Many mistakes were made and much was learned. I came out of this shoot/trip a better person and a better documentarian.
Special shout-out to Erick. For what? The world may never know.
