Still trying to realize what this weekend actually was…
I got to ride at LAO — Langenfeld Open — with 60 of the best wakeboarders in the world.
And being the youngest rider at the whole event made it even crazier.
Last year - 2025 - was my first LAO…
2 falls. Quick exit.
This year I came back smarter, calmer
and way more prepared…
And for the first time at LAO
I landed both runs all the way to the end 🤍
Heat 6 was insane! 🤯

Riders I respect and look up to!
I ended up 5th in my heat but that was not what it was about.
What made this weekend really special were all the moments around the riding.
Getting compliments from riders from all over the world.
Talking and hanging out with people I used to only watch on Instagram.
The team of
@liquidforcewake personally telling me they’re proud of my progress.
That honestly meant so much to me.
One of the coolest moments was hearing
@prestonpersichetti and
@isaiczclaudio say how much I improved since last year.
Moments like that give me even more motivation to keep pushing.
Also huge respect to my coach & teammate
@berghe33 for making the final 16 after 5 LAO appearances ❤️
And
@nanou.lenaers getting 4th at her very first LAO is just insane 🤯
This weekend was more than a contest.
It felt like living inside the dream for a few days.
