Caught these beautiful portraits after a quick visit to Reading Terminal while in Philly this summer. I ran into an amazing artist playing tunes for the dozens of people moving through Center City- @will.ellsworth . His vibes and gorgeous guitar stopped me in my tracks and we had an impromptu photo shoot. Moments like this is why I keep my camera on me.

Sometimes, I move through life so quickly with my camera that I forget I was in a certain place until I get the photos developed and they take me back to that exact moment.
This photo is an example of that. I had forgotten all about snapping this photo during a stroll along the bay a few months back. I was just shooting whatever scene met me in that moment and then moved on to the next. I’m glad I stopped long enough to capture this moment in time.

Did a bit of Content Producing for an immersive experience in art and nature in the Florida Everglades back in May for @airieverglades x @cmxnr ! While there, I caught a few film photos of my own 📸
@airieverglades and @cmxnr are two wonderful organizations doing impactful work for artists here in South Florida and beyond. @tubbyateawaffle caught footage of the event, including conversation with a few AIRIE artists, before we ventured off into the Everglades for an deeply educational walk through the land.

I’m so proud to finally share my first photobook with you — RESPIRA. 📖✨
This project is deeply personal. I started taking photos in 2023, shortly after moving to Mexico City. What began as curiosity quickly turned into a passion that helped me see myself — and the world — in a whole new way.
RESPIRA (which means “breathe” in Spanish) is a visual love letter to that chapter of my life: a time of growth, healing, and self-discovery. Through these images, I wanted to capture what it felt like to slow down, explore new places, and reconnect with my intuition.
As a Black, queer woman from the South, creating this book was also about reclaiming my story — and letting go of who I thought I had to be, so I could make space for who I really am.
The process wasn’t always easy, but it was incredibly rewarding. I poured so much care and intention into every page. Holding the finished book in my hands feels like a huge milestone — and I’m grateful to the people who encouraged me along the way and have already shown this project so much love.
This is just the beginning. 📸

Soledad en la ciudad 🇲🇽 one of my favorite pastimes is getting lost on purpose in the streets of Mexico City. The same few blocks could lead me to many different experiences depending on the time of day. On the days that these were captured, I was able to catch a few quiet moments.

“Stroll”
I’m currently wrapping up one photography series and in pre-production for another one(🙏🏾), so I’ve been trying to embrace the moments where I’m able to just go out with my camera and capture whatever I stroll upon.
For this set in particular, it was 7:00AM and I had about ten exposures left and less than twenty minutes before heading to the airport…so I took a QUICK stroll around this cute lil neighborhood that my airbnb was in. Very happy with how these shots came out. Even more excited to share what I’m currently working on VERY soon 👀✨
