The Limestone Caves of Andaman (mainly in Baratang Island) are natural caves formed over thousands to millions of years by the slow dissolution of limestone by slightly acidic rainwater.
Inside the caves, you can see unique formations like stalactites (hanging from the roof) and stalagmites (rising from the ground) created by mineral deposits over time.
They are famous for their raw natural beauty, cool interiors, and adventurous access—usually involving a boat ride through mangrove forests and a short forest trek.
