What a night! It was intense, it was a rush, but it was absolutely beautiful. Huge thanks to the nearly 500 guests — friends, partners, and everyone who came to be part of this unforgettable evening. See you in 2026 — it’s going to be bigger, better, and full of surprises. Stay tuned!
Over the past decades, fashion and art have maintained a continuous dialogue, transforming clothing into discourse and creations into movement. Iris van Herpen merges science, architecture, and technology (such as 3D printing) to craft sculptural dresses; Louis Vuitton partners with artists like Kusama, Murakami, and Koons, and houses the Fondation Louis Vuitton; Dior promotes collaborations and artistic projects that bring art to the runway. Comme des Garçons, under Rei Kawakubo, approaches fashion as conceptual art — deconstructing silhouettes and envisioning shows as installations — recognized by the Met with Art of the In-Between. Schiaparelli, since Elsa Schiaparelli, has woven Surrealism into clothing through collaborations with Salvador Dalí and Jean Cocteau; today, under Daniel Roseberry, the maison continues this dialogue with pieces that revisit ornamentation and craftsmanship — including lavish finishes such as gold leaf and crystals. At the most dramatic extreme, Alexander McQueen confronted audience and art through performative runway shows; his vision was immortalized in the Met’s Savage Beauty exhibition.

ZOOT Editors Pick by Anderson Vescah: ModaLisboa SS25
Texture, form, and intent. Curated by fashion editor Anderson Vescah, this special selection spotlights six designers who presented their Spring/Summer 2025 collections at ModaLisboa Singular — where bold silhouettes, sharp cuts, and fluid draping came together in expressions both technical and poetic.
The looks are seen backstage on three standout models — Aide, Maria, and Aicha — ZOOTs’ muses, framed through the evocative lens of Paris-based photographer Paul Edrice.

ANCESTRAL (3/3) For its first foray into Brazil, ZOOT’s Brazilian fashion editor Anderson Vescah and his local creative crew dive deep into the cultural pulse of the tropics. Together, they capture the spirit, style, and soul of a region shaped by lush nature and ancestral legacy.
Anderson curates a new wave of Black and Indigenous designers who channel ancestral memory and place racial representation at the heart of their work. Their creations — bold, intimate, and unapologetically grounded — are captured through the lens of Brazilian photographer Alex Santana.
