We need to talk about Comic Con. 🤩
We debuted two brand new acts at the Thursday night show for 1200 audience members.
A boy-lesque act as performed by our base half, Nick (with an Amanda ft), and an acro-dance piece performed by the both of us.
It was so fun, challenging, and inspiring to make these two new pieces with styles of performance that are fairly new for us.
The audience was incredible! Full of life, energy, and love for our whole show!
.
On Friday night we got to dance party the whole night away as gogo dancing Robin Hood and Maid Marian. This was so fun and so good for our brain chemistry.
Though our feet are still aching 😂
.
@highfantasyevents and the team running these shows are one of our favourites to work with. We always feel so safe and cared for both on and off stage by everyone involved. And the music selection 👌
.
Shout out to
@christianrockdragking for the fabulous EmCee-ing Thursday, and the ever effervescent
@buckdeliciousthedragthing for commanding the Friday audience masterfully.
.
Also at the end of the Friday dance party
@korathecreature ended the show by singing the most fabulous rendition of of “I Will always love you” and the cast cuddled together on the stage as Kora made the audience weep. It was maybe the most moving moment of the whole weekend 🥹
.
We had a great time! We are so excited to keep creating art and falling in love with this community.
