Back in 2017, KEL had the opportunity to be part of something ahead of its time. On the Vector Aerospace project for Ventana and CBRE , we specified and established procurement for what became the first Lutron Vive wireless lighting control system installed in British Columbia—across a 40,000 square foot two floor office space. At the time, wireless control wasn’t the default—it required trust in KEL, coordination, and a willingness to push beyond conventional design. The result was a flexible, scalable system that reduced install complexity and set the stage for how many commercial projects are executed today. This wasn’t just about lighting—it was about introducing smarter infrastructure before the market caught up, and KEL continues to be at that leading edge. We were proud to support and take part in the second annual Building Tomorrow Youth Trades Fair, led by @conwestcontracting in partnership with the @ilcentrovan , bringing students together to explore careers in the trades. With 27 exhibitors and over 300 registrants spanning students, families, and educators, the event created meaningful opportunities for connection and learning. Thank you to everyone who took part and helped make the day a success.
