Malayo pa, pero malayo na.
Im 40 and this is my first time having abs. 😅 Ive dreamed about this since college but not to impress anyone.
This is for me, for my body, and for my health.
I run 3x a week (intervals, tempo, and LSD) and lift 2–3x a week. It really helps build a stronger, more jacked body. Of course, if you’re sick or injured, rest days and active recovery are very important.
I also eat 3–4 quality meals a day, mostly whole foods, always with a protein source, and I try to avoid ultra processed food. Sobrang laki ng effect nito sa body and overall feeling ko. Protein and creatine is a solid combo.
@wheyl
I go about 50% balanced healthy meals (mostly protein) and 50% flexible eating so I can still enjoy pizza, burger, ice cream, coke, or whatever I want. Hindi ako super strict magdiet. mahilig lang talaga kumain haha. I also try to finish eating before 6pm, which helps with weight management, sleep, and recovery. Before bed, I take magnesium for better sleep and recovery.
For running, you can go solo, in a group, or join a run club. just do it. A run club helps a lot with motivation, consistency, and pushing yourself more.
If you’re building your body, find a training buddy. It really helps with consistency and motivation, especially on days you dont feel like training.
Discipline and consistency over motivation. Motivation comes and goes, but if you’re disciplined, you still show up even on lazy days. Just do it anyway.
You can do it too. We all can. Just stay consistent and dont rush the process. the results will come.
