When making this exhibition ”A Disquieting Landscape“, I became very inspired by the Metaphysical Art movement. At first I was just taken by how Giorgio de Chirico solves the space within his canvas, the way he plays with seemingly randomly scaled objects and places them within a distorted urban vista, to creates this feeling of unsettling. His paintings gave me insight into how to tackle the exhibition room
@formatoslo , & to display art jewellery alongside sculpture. While the more I read about the history of Metaphysical art, the more fascinated I became, especially with the painting ´The Disquieting Muses’, and how paradigm shifts affect artists of their time.
So grateful to
@formatoslo for giving me this opportunity to show my work, & the support I received during the process. And thank you to everyone who came to the opening night :-)
The exhibition will be running until the 8th March ☺️
Also big thanks to my dear friends and colleagues
