I titled this gown “التحوّل”
For Alana Hadid who is ever-shifting, yet unafraid to evolve.
This piece was created in honor of those who carry both silk and spine.
I envisioned the gown, but Javier made it real.
He gave it breath. Every seam, every sculpted line.
Watching him work was its own kind of art.
This piece wouldn’t exist without his hands. Grateful to have created alongside someone so wildly talented, deeply humble, and full of soul.
A custom tattoo was also designed.
