New showreel! A montage based on recurring themes and subjects, followed by 2 clips of dialogue scenes.
I started making films in 2020, and it really feels like I’m closing a chapter and moving onto something new. These were all either no budget or student films, with mostly friends and family acting and filling crew roles. This reel is dedicated to those that participated to these projects out of sheer passion, generosity and dedication. I’m eternally thankful.
Highlights of these past five years are my debut feature film Superbia, which I made one year after making my very first short, my adaptation of Kafka’s ‘The Metamorphosis,’ a seemingly impossible task which took 2 years to figure out in the edit haha, and my graduation film The Nettle Man, the first time I’ve worked with a child and also with professional actors (for more than a single day).
I look forward to future projects and going outside my comfort zone by applying for funding and also looking for more professional collaborators and other avenues to get larger projects off the ground … we’ll see. Either way, I’ll find a way to keep making films.

(spoiler warning)
It’s been two weeks since “The Metamorphosis” released online, so I feel comfortable sharing some frame grabs from the film.
I’m really thankful for the fantastic response the film has gotten. The film being an adaptation of a classic work made it reach a wider audience than my previous films. And I’m beyond glad to see it being widely accepted by fans of the novella. Something which made me nervous throughout the whole process.
Everyone’s reading of a book will differ from others, but for my film to find those readers of Kafka who like myself disagree with the representation of him; his work; of “kafkaesque”, who disagree with the presentation of the “insect”, and for those readers to enjoy my – in many ways – very personal vision of this story is more than I could’ve hoped for.
The film is still available on Vimeo and YouTube, and log-able/rateable on Letterboxd and IMDB.
The Metamorphosis’ London Premiere & after party on May 10
Thanks again to everyone who came! It was wonderful to share my film with you
And thanks to @night.vid & @4nna_zef for killing it on the decks!!
And @cruel1adevil for taking pictures <3 – a link to the photos is on my profile
