Karly and Liam’s hiking elopement was so special. Karly and her sister grew up with my sweet Arctic who I adopted from their parents. I met Karly my very first winter in Canmore!
We hiked up in the dark - took a little detour before the summit and had a beautiful barefoot ceremony with @alpenglow.ceremonies in the soft light after sunrise.
On our walk down, surrounded by hundreds of thousands of berries we ran (literally almost ran) into one of the largest grizzlies we’ve ever seen, munching away unbothered. It was cool, scary, surreal and quite the unexpected wedding crasher.

Just over two years ago, the rarest soul I’ve ever known walked into my life (aka, the shoe alley at Sports Experts)
During one the hardest times of my life, your energy shined light where there was darkness and grew flowers where there was dirt. Most days, I know how to love myself and I owe that to you.
I will forever and ever feel privileged to call you my best friend.
It’s likely that there are enough words to describe how much I truly love and miss you but I might just be too stupid to know them!
