BIO:Born in the soulful city of Detroit, Mary Mar, better known as BGIRL MAMA, is a dynamic force of nature—a Khmer Muslimah b-girl blending powerful moves with heartfelt music. Growing up in a bustling Cambodian family of seven kids, where every day was a chorus of singing and dancing, she discovered her passion for performing early, she set the foundation for a journey that’s as bold as it is inspiring.
Her bgirl story began in 2001 with crews like Hardcore Detroit® and Venus Fly, she’s left her mark on stages across the U.S. and Canada even performing at the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture. As part of the trailblazing duo Mama2, she’s toured globally, inspiring through dance and activism.

BIO: Val Pal is a dedicated B-girl, mentor, and leader rooted in the principles of each one teach one. Representing Long Beach, CA, she is a driving force behind Underground Flow, her crew with 25 years in the culture. She has committed her journey to uplifting youth, especially B-girls of all ages and levels, building not just skill, but character, confidence, and community. Her mentorship focuses on guiding the next generation to find their voice, reach their potential, and give back, elevating the culture while encouraging others to live in their light.
