Iron Monkey (@shawndrickhallman ) from Freestyle Session 5: 2 Year Anniversary, held in Pasadena, California in 1999. Shawn Supreme was recognized as the next-generation B-Boy to follow in the footsteps of B-Boy Ivan, and from 1997, he began firmly establishing his name in the West Coast scene. Through countless battles and jams, he built his reputation and earned respect through his skills. Then in 1999, after joining the legendary Rock Force Crew, his career seemed to take off with wings. He went beyond the West Coast and made his name known around the world, leaving a clear page in breaking history. Iron Monkey was an exceptional B-Boy in every aspect. His overwhelming power level, intense style, and the character behind it were all complete. His personality was playful and humorous, but inside the battle, he showed a fighting spirit stronger than almost anyone. He never missed an opponent’s weakness. Instead, he turned it against them with wit and used it to take control of the battle. At times, he took over the atmosphere with humor, and at other times, he overwhelmed the contest with explosive energy. Iron Monkey was not simply a strong B-Boy.
