We had an absolute blast this past weekend at my youngest daughter's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle birthday party! We made our own version of an NYC Pizzeria, a back alley sewer photo op, and a bunch of fun props and games for all the kids.

It was so much fun experimenting with painting faux concrete and trying my hand at graffiti. Beyond fortunate to be able to make magic for my family and friends.

Working on this Slytherin / Reputation coded room! A project I've been thinking about for a while, I used 3 Billy Bookcases from IKEA, some 2x4s and molding to get this built in look. It fits perfectly with the color drenching in this space. Color is Jasper by Sherwin Williams.

When Teddy and I got together, he had just started film school at CSULB. After he graduated he jumped around doing any and all types of jobs within the industry. He truly is the definition of a jack of all trades. He is a DIY expert, woodworking enthusiast, prop master, skilled set designer, and genuinely the nicest person you will ever meet- which all turned out to be the perfect mix. He started doing art department and set design, prop making, and carpentry. He has made some really beautiful things for me, magical things for King Studios, and very elaborate sets/props for music videos, Bosch, Cerave, Amazon, Yale, Beats by Dre, and many other companies. If we look back- there was always an invisible string that led him to where he is now. I am so proud of him and grateful he is truly living his dream.
Congratulations to the whole “Abduction” team- you all really deserve this.

We were tasked with creating a few different passageways as well as the main burial chamber of this ancient Egyptian pharaoh's tomb! It was the definition of a worthy challenge and a set building experience that I will truly never forget! (I'm still shaking sand out of my boots over a year later)
