Thrilled to be part of @culturalxcollabs with @dhlinternational and the Museum for Islamic Art in Berlin, alongside the incredibly talented @ustadfazelsapand , @baltazarmolina9 and @alynasabah . As someone with Portuguese roots, this feels especially meaningful. We often forget that every culture we know today is the result of many others meeting, mixing and shaping one another. In Portugal, that influence is everywhere, from the tiles to the architecture, and even in names such as Algarve and Alentejo. At a time when the world feels increasingly divided, this project is a reminder of what can happen when past and present, tradition and innovation, come together.
