BALLET returns next month for our first presentation of the year, marking a special appearance from London-based Lolina (@relaxinrecords ), whose electronic-pop experimentalism has spanned a number of solo releases; recent collaborations with Astrid Sonne, Arca, and NEW YORK; and work under the alias Inga Copeland for Hype Williams with Dean Blunt.
@l_y_d_o and @tomasurquieta present their live set. After a run of shows together this past year, it’s clear their artistry is just as compatible outside of the techno-sphere, having mastered an organic, intimate edge to raw ambient. Opening is Hymn, the new, slower-burning alias of Brooklyn favorite @msbattygyal .

BALLET is excited to present our biggest production yet.
@yatta.sound combines ambient, beats, and heavy sub bass with pulls from their unreleased poetry project. @1chantssss performs their acclaimed chamber pop for the first time in the US, with live cello support from Gabriel (@micro.fossil ). @authenticallyplastic opens the night with an hour of ambient — or free-form fuckery, rather.
Sets are broken up by readings from @a1exajo , @caindlima , and Con Surgery (@impossibly.awesome.nothing ). The church will be illuminated by an on-stage installation from Stephen Michaels (@iloveenjoyingthings ).
Please arrive on time as seating is limited and entrance during the show is disruptive to performers and guests. The venue is alcohol-free; there will be an intermission. Tickets in bio, with love.
