Words cannot do justice to describe the feelings that are being felt right now. Yesterday was our first opportunity to share “The Cost” on a large screen. Thank you to everyone who was able to come by and support us and to all who have supported this endeavor. Thank you to the Cast&Crew that help made this dream a reality. And thank you to @strasberginstitute for giving a space to veterans to express ourselves. There are so many talented veterans out there and thank you for letting us share.
1 year and 3 months in United States.
It’s been tough — but every day, it gets a little easier to survive.
Feels like playing an old Diablo game on “Hell” difficulty… without ever playing it before.
All this political chaos that never touched me before the war, the ongoing crisis I didn’t even notice back in 2008 (I was just an 11-year-old kid), and now — working just to survive — it’s made me both stronger and more sensitive to all the crap happening around me… or that might happen.
I don’t know what life has in store for me — or for us — but one thing I know for sure:
I still love making films. I love being on set.
And I love meeting incredible people from all over the world here in the U.S.
This is the most honest photo I have from this time.
It captures the pain, the laughing-through-tears, and a weird kind of hope 😆.
Big cheers to everyone I’ve met along the way and to those who helped me keep going.

Цей проєкт – це кавер пісні Артема Пивоварова «Думи мої Думи», але перекладений на німецьку мову. Ми прагнули створити щось особливе, що передає глибокі емоції і водночас об’єднує різні культури. Наша мета полягала також у тому, щоб заявити про необхідність завершення війни та показати жахливі жертви, які вона принесла Україні через напад ворога – Росії, що створила хаос у нашій нації.
