What’s your favourite part about sharing a closet with me? 🖤
V -Sharing a closet with Yaz is chaotic, hilarious, occasionally annoying—and the most fun I’ve ever had getting dressed. They’ve taught me to bend gender, clash styles, and wear a dress like a boy (on purpose). No outfit goes unedited, and with Yaz, honesty is part of the deal - for better or worse. I used to think I was fashionable but now I know I have style. From thrifted gems to designer pieces, Yaz makes fashion feel like freedom. They’ve shown me how to dress up without losing myself - and in every way, they make me better.
Yaz - Having a room in our apartment as the designated closet where we share every item of clothes is, for me, the ultimate dream. While we aren’t the same size, we are close enough that most things work for both of us. I love seeing the way that V styles things and how different it is at times from what I would’ve created. They’ve taught me a lot about the art of the “edit” and how little changes like modifying the length of a garment make a big difference. They have vision, and it’s exhilarating to be part of the whirlwind as they style, shit is EVERYWHERE. They are also built like a model so it is a gift to my eyes to see them wear our piece. It does sometimes make me jealous though but you know… working on it. They have undeniably made me more stylish, I am eternally grateful and can’t wait for the rest of this forever sleepover.
My hair? A hat for my mentally ill brain. Makes me scream-cry, tests my patience, and holds a key to my gender. 🗝️🐣
Some of these eras are actually terrifying. Slide 2? I can’t.
Like many queers before me, I did the undercut, the long lesbian hair and now I’m more me, your masc-andro guy with adhd.
But listen - I still want my Sinead O’Connor moment. I still want my first 40” lace front. I want to stomp outside looking like a real boy in a wig. I want none of it and all of it at once. You know what I mean.
All this talk about being a h0m0 with a lot of hobbies… I knew you wouldn’t believe me without the receipts.
Current hobbies include (but are not limited to):

-building…really anything with a power tool
-nail art
-staging
-hair styling
-general handyman work..while looking hot
-garment care/ STAIN DADDY
-gardening
If I were to teach you to do one thing.. what would it be?
We wanted to do some good, and we did. We’ve both been told that we’ve got pretty cute style.. so we put it to use.
We stripped down our closet and raised 2k for the @gazasoupkitchen !

Hi! I’m V.
I’ve never really taken up space on the internet—and that kinda became my thing.
But it’s time to put me in, coach.
I want to show up, not to prove anything, but to be part of it. And maybe to rep the mascs who know their way around a sewing machine and a power tool or two?
The world keeps getting scarier, everything mostly sucks, but life is so short and hiding in my room isn’t helping anyone—including me. So I’m here now too.
If you read all this..I think that makes us friends now?
Easily the most fun we’ve had on a night out in recent memory. We attended the first in person @peterdoclub event, fit with mom infused Vietnamese food, the most incredible people, and an unhinged surprise karaoke after party.
Neither of us expected the night to feel as welcoming or as delightfully silly as it did, but after meeting and chatting with @doxpeter , it made perfect sense. The event felt like an extension of his energy- playful, a little raunchy, and undeniably beautiful. We left in awe of how human it all felt, and how down everyone was to make a fool and a friend.
There is nothing like the combination of getting dressed the hell up in a thoughtful fit and then sweating through it. Function at its finest.
