One year into my tenure as MD/CEO of Transcorp Hotels Plc, our strategic priority has been clear: to build Africa’s most trusted hospitality business by strengthening our assets, providing personalised guest experience, and delivering sustainable shareholder value.
Our audited FY 2025 results reflect the execution of this strategy. Our company delivered a strong performance, recording a 38% increase in revenue to nearly ₦100 billion and a 49% growth in gross profit, supported by disciplined cost management and robust demand across our hospitality portfolio. In line with this performance, the Board has proposed a total dividend of ₦1.30 per share, subject to shareholder approval, reaffirming our commitment to long-term value creation for our shareholders.
In addition to our financial performance, we continue to invest intentionally in the long-term competitiveness of the business. Ongoing upgrades of our facilities, alongside improvements in service delivery and product modernisation, are aimed at meeting the evolving expectations of the premium hospitality market.
Our 5000-seat capacity Transcorp Centre; the 1,200-seat capacity Congress Hall and meeting room facilities, maintained strong utilisation during the year, reinforcing our position as a preferred venue for major conferences, business dialogues and landmark social events in Nigeria.
We are also laying the foundation for our next phase of growth. Our planned development in Lagos, reflects our confidence in the long-term fundamentals of Nigeria’s luxury and business travel segment and our strategy to expand our footprint in key urban locations.
As we look ahead, our commitment remains unwavering: to strengthen our brand, deepen customer engagement, and build a hospitality business that improves lives and contributes meaningfully to Africa’s transformation.

Elumelu, CFR (@tonyoelumelu ), Chairman of Transcorp Group, to celebrate the life and legacy of Chief Israel Chinwuba Ogbue, father of Dr. Awele Elumelu, whose values, wisdom, and legacy will continue to inspire generations.
My heartfelt condolences to the Elumelu and Ogbue families as we honoured a life well lived.
