30 days ago, I was rushed to the ER with a heart rate of 185 that wouldn’t come down. Stroke level. Heart attack level. I felt my body shutting down… and then boom—doctors did what they do, God did what He does. I was stable hours later. But that moment changed everything. After months of ignoring the signs, I was diagnosed with a heart condition. Right after the @girlstripsociety launch in 2025- what should’ve been a high—I went low. Went from a six figure year to negative accounts. Dropped out of my masters program. I couldn’t eat or sleep. Lost people closest to me. My family was in shambles. Life felt like it was falling apart. I was stressed, hurt… and honestly, felt like a failure. I went quiet. Pulled back. Got still. Then everything shifted. Everything lost was restored …My God is a God of “And Suddenly…” Not because I hustled harder— but because I got aligned and surrendered everything. I gave up control. God said: “Not yet.” & downloaded His next steps for me. Truth is, I’ve always kept things polished on here… but that version of me doesn’t work anymore. That’s what is interesting about social media… you can be in the trenches but still look like “Gold.” I wasn’t in a healthy place to share … but now I am. I’ve seen what vulnerability does. Our tests become our testimonies… and that’s where the real impact lives. So I’m choosing purpose over pressure. Because time? We don’t get that back.
