Looking back to our performance @z.i.m.m.t in Leipzig last month. For the first time realising my live performance with visuals by @kleo.shif . A 32-channel live performance played with different coded instrument in SuperCollider, partly accompanied by @_yaaray_ 's vocals and @kleo.shif 's bass playing.

Was für ein tolles 3D-Konzert der SWIM-Reihe! Ein Abend, zwei Grenzgänge zwischen Raum, Klang und Körper mit Gerriet K. Sharma @gksh_lab und dem UN-Sync Ensemble @uunsync ! Beide Konzerte könnt ihr ab heute auf unserem YouTube-Kanal in voller Länge nachschauen und -hören (Link in Bio)!
Am vergangenen Samstag erfüllte zunächst das UN-Sync Ensemble den Raum mit träumerischen Klängen. Vocals, Basslines und Field Recordings umspielten das Publikum, das auf Kissen gebettet den hybriden Klängen in sich versunken hingeben konnte.
Im zweiten Teil des Abends entfaltete Gerriet K. Sharma mit dem IKOsaeder, einem eigens entwickelten 3D-Klanginstrument, seine intensive Klangsprache. Das Publikum wanderte durch eine dicht gewobene Soundlandschaft, in der sich Klänge an Wänden brachen, über Köpfe zogen und sich unerwartet wieder verbanden.
Ein weiteres Highlight des Wochenendes war die Klanginstallation „simmrrrn 2.1.”, in der Gerriet K. Sharma dem Ephemeren, dem Unfassbaren folgte. Eine Serie von Klangskulpturen zwischen Glitch, Dada und Minimalismus forderte die Wahrnehmung der Zuschauer*innen heraus.

Wir laden herzlich zum nächsten SWIM-Konzert am 26.07. ab 18:00 Uhr ein. Mit Gerriet K. Sharma und dem UN-SYNC Ensemble.
🎶 Gerriet K. Sharma präsentiert „shadow material I.–V.” aus dem Jahr 2025, eine skulpturale Komposition für den IKOsaeder. Eine auditive Erkundung von Anwesenheit und Abwesenheit, bei der mehrschichtige Klangtexturen verwendet werden, um die Raumwahrnehmung in Bezug auf die Akustik der architektonischen Umgebung zu intensivieren.
Verzerrtes Flüstern, Subbass-Drones und Rauschen interagieren unvorhersehbar und fordern dazu auf, sich auf das zu konzentrieren, was gefühlt statt gehört wird. Klang wird als formbares Material behandelt, das zwischen Zeit, Struktur und Leere changiert.
🎶 Das UN-Sync Ensemble – Klyl, Seina und Yaara – verbindet in seiner Performance raumbezogene Klangpraktiken mit Improvisation, Experiment und Kollektivität. Zwischen Sound-Art, Noise, elektroakustischer Musik und experimentellem Pop entstehen offene Klangräume mit unkonventionellen Setups, resonierenden Objekten und immersiven Lautsprecherarrangements. Ihre Arbeit kombiniert algorithmische Tools mit taktilen Materialien und schafft so neue Zugänge zu elektronischer Musik.

𝓤𝓷-𝓢𝔂𝓷𝓬, 14.11.2024
Klyl, Seina and Yaaray, present the collaborative experimental music event series 𝓤𝓷-𝓢𝔂𝓷𝓬. As a female-composed collective, they bring forward the idea of women in electronic music through a symbiotic practice that is counter-competitive and is based on a firm ground of cherishing each other’s work and practice.
With 𝓤𝓷-𝓢𝔂𝓷𝓬, they introduce different sonic materials and systems that involve space as an integral part of the musical performance. That may include different sound sources in unconventional placement, ranging from resonating objects to multiple portable speakers in different surround settings.
By combining the tactility of physical materials with algorithmic spatialization tools, they offer a meeting point for these allegedly contradictory concepts.

Introducing Un-Sync member Yaaray, a composer, sound artist and vocalist, who seeks to explore and expose the hidden elements within recognised sounds, aspiring to obscure the borders between them with personal interpretation. She focuses primarily on acoustic sound material, in search for the human quality in music and for ways to convey fragility and intimacy through sonic atmospheres. By means of improvisation, notation for instruments, gestured objects and digital audio manipulation, she takes particular interest in transferring meaning carried through poetry and sound.
Introducing Un-Sync member Klyl Shifroni, a sound composer who currently works with the electric bass as the main tool. Through the bass, she draws a line of communication between materials and sonic textures. She exposes her curiosity through multichannel compositions, sound installations-performances, resonating objects, and live bass & computer sets.
Introducing Un-Sync member Seina, a sound-artist and educator, whos practice revolves around computer music. Currently she is looking for ways to make live performance with coding languages more accessible and engaging for both performer and audience. Next to her individual practice she is doing sounddesign for film.
In August 2024 she released her debut EP with the Lucerne based label Präsens Editionen.
