Over 10 years ago, when I was working on my MFA in film school, I did a presentation on editing using "Requiem for a Dream" film by Darren Aronofsky as an example and inspiration.
Yesterday, I saw Darren Aronofsky live in conversation with Ari Handel. Questions had to be submitted online in advance, and out of 5–6 that were asked, one of them was mine about visual storytelling and collaboration with the cinematographer.
