408th Silver Arrow! 🏹
On Saturday the 18th, we hosted the 408th Silver Arrow at St Andrews. Despite some windy conditions, there were excellent performances from all of the archers that attended 😁
A huge congratulations to all of our archers; outgoing captain Sharon came away with a new Scottish record (🏴), experienced archers Alex, Josephine and Fred medaled in their respective categories against TOUGH competition, and many of our novices snagged medals as well, despite it being most of their first times competing outdoors!
Thank you to everyone who came and made the day so enjoyable, the judges for their help on the day, and of course to Adam and Bridey for putting in so much time and effort into organising the event and making sure everything ran smoothly behind the scenes.
Already looking forward to next year!
BUCS INDOOR FINALS 2026 - And just like that, the student indoor season is done! We sent four archers to Warwick after they qualified in the top third of their categories, to compete in BUCS finals. Amber Kennedy, after winning novice women’s recurve for the northern qualifier, did phenomenally as a novice, we’re so proud of her. For Lucy Coutts and Bridey Simpson, it was their first BUCS finals, and although they didn’t make it into head to heads, they both gave it their all and did amazing. Sharon Pisani shot strongly and went through to head to heads where she was knocked out, we cannot praise her more for how brilliantly she performed. They had the best time with other student archers, especially those from Scotland, and can’t wait to tackle the outdoor season!
