J.P. Shilo is a true local legend and genre-defying shape-shifter. First emerging in the ’90s with Hungry Ghosts, he has since become one of Australia’s most sought-after multi-instrumentalists and producers. His unmistakable sonic touch can be heard across 50+ albums, including work with Rowland S. Howard, Adalita, The Blackeyed Susans, Mick Harvey and Tropical Fuck Storm.
The Third Sound, led by Icelandic guitarist Hákon Aðalsteinsson (guitarist, The Brian Jonestown Massacre), fuse garage rock, shoegaze and motorik psychedelia into a swirling, immersive live experience built on driving rhythms and hypnotic psych textures.
