The XYZ Shelf is a structural system built from aluminum pipes, designed around the three axes of X(horizontal), Y(vertical), and Z(depth). Its form and function vary with the length and combination of each axis, and depending on the shelves applied, it can expand into a bookshelf, clothes rack, or shoe stand. It can be freely composed to suit the proportions and purpose of a space, proposing flexible functionality in response to its configuration.

Book Weight, 2025
활자의 균형에서 출발해, 책의 물성을 고려한 네 가지 곡률로 만든 문진입니다. 책의 형태와 두께에 맞춰 안정적으로 놓이며, 책 위에서는 도구로, 책 밖에서는 오브제로 기능합니다.
This book weight originates from the balanced structure of letterforms and is shaped with four curvatures that respond to the nature of books.
It rests stably according to the book’s form and thickness, working as a tool on the book and as an object on its own.

디자인은 단순히 형태를 만드는 일이 아니라, 수많은 시행착오를 거쳐 오류를 줄이고 사용에 가장 적합한 해법을 찾는 과정입니다. 과정은 언제나 반복적인 검증과 실험의 연속이며, 이를 통해 기능적 완결성을 높이는 동시에 외형의 간결함과 비례의 아름다움을 탐구합니다. 재료와 감각에 대한 연구 또한 병행되며, 구조와 표현이 균형을 이루는 지점을 찾아갑니다. 이렇게 축적된 과정은 최종 결과물 속에 응축되며, 이번 전시는 그 과정을 직접 드러냅니다.

Design is not merely about creating forms but about finding the most suitable solutions through countless trials and errors. It is a continuous cycle of testing and verification, enhancing functional completeness while exploring clarity of form and balanced proportions. Research into materials and sensibility progresses in parallel, seeking the point where structure and expression coexist harmoniously. These accumulated processes become condensed within the final outcome, and this exhibition reveals that process directly.

엣지폼 라운지는 인체공학적 수치를 기반으로 설계된 라운지 체어입니다. 착좌감을 검증하기 위해 직접 개발한 시스템 착석감측정의자(Seating Measurement Chair)를 활용해 최적의 편안함을 제공합니다. 7개의 알루미늄 면이 정밀하게 결합되어 조형적 입체감을 드러냅니다.
This lounge chair is engineered with precise ergonomic measurements to ensure optimal comfort in seating. Utilising the ‘Seating Measurement Chair’ system, it achieves a well-balanced posture while maintaining a compact size that allows it to fit seamlessly into both spacious and limited interiors.

WTC Lounge, 2022
WTC 라운지는 합판 사이에 구조를 은폐해 단순하면서도 안정적인 형태를 구현한 라운지 체어입니다. 내부의 보이지 않는 구조는 뼈대처럼 지탱하고, 외부에는 소재의 조화와 단정한 실루엣만 드러냅니다. 편안한 착석감을 제공하면서 공간 속 존재감을 강조하도록 디자인되었습니다.
WTC lounge is designed not only to provide a very comfortable seating experience but also to both its presence in space when not in use. Also we wanted to pursue both harmonious composition of materials and structural stability by hiding key structures between each plywood.
