Yesterday, the team from FAFA App hosted the 2nd part of our Mind Strong Bootcamp at OLA SHS, bringing together over 500 students for an important conversation about digital safety, cyberbullying, and resilience.
The session opened with remarks from Joanna Kwame, who reminded students why the conversation matters today.
“At this stage in our lives, we find ourselves online often, so we need to know how to stay safe.”
Through an interactive workshop on “Your Screen, Your Safety & Resilience in Action,” students learned how cyberbullying happens, how to protect themselves online, and the importance of seeking help when they need it.
The session was facilitated by
@saviour_kwame_agbevey , Center Manager at
@gifec_ghana , who helped break down the basics of cybersecurity and how students can protect their personal information and digital identity.
Beyond the conversation, a new set of students also had the chance to experience the FAFA App through a live demo and group testing session led by the team. They explored how the platform creates a safe, anonymous space where young people can share anything they’re going through and receive support.
The energy in the room was incredible. From thoughtful questions to engaging discussions, it was clear that these conversations are not just important; they are necessary.
Because building a mentally strong generation also means helping young people navigate the digital world safely.
Thank you to OLA SHS for welcoming us again and to every student who made the session meaningful.
