April is the Month of the Military Child, and U.S. Special Operations Command Europe proudly recognizes the strength, resilience, and sacrifice of military children across our force.
From frequent moves to long separations, these young members of our community adapt, overcome, and thrive alongside their families, playing a vital role in mission readiness across the European theater.
This month, we honor their courage, celebrate their contributions, and reaffirm our commitment to supporting military families.

Reflecting on the past to strengthen the future. 🛡️⚡
SOCEUR service members visited the Dachau Concentration Camp for a Preservation of the Force and Family (POTFF) spiritual fitness event. The group bore witness to the "Death March" and "The Unknown Prisoner" monuments, the Incinerator Room and the Old Crematorium, gaining a heavy but necessary perspective on human values.
The event ended with an interactive discussion guided by Lieutenant Colonel Cody Vest, the Command Chaplain of SOCEUR, giving the service members the opportunity to transform these historical events into the personal strength needed to navigate the demanding special operations lifestyle.
By investing in these experiences, SOCEUR ensures a force ready for any challenge. 💪
