May aerialist spotlight featuring
@isa.fairy.flow 💚
What got you into aerial arts?
I started aerial arts because I had a dream one night that I was doing flying trapeze in a circus...I woke up for the dream and immediately started looking for a circus studio near me. So I quite literally followed my dreams;)
How long have you been practicing?
I took my first aerial silks class 5 years ago- February 14, 2021 (Valentine's Day!)
What’s your go-to move?
I'm obsessed with spins lately! Any sequence with a tornado spin is my go to for performing:) and a classic double star always hits!
Coolest place you’ve performed?
It wasn't for an audience but the coolest place I've ever done silks was probably in front of Sahalie and Koosah falls in Oregon. I love connecting aerials and nature so much!
Advice you’d give a beginner?
Give yourself grace and be patient! My first couple silks classes I was convinced it was going to be impossible for me to progress- everything was sooo confusing to me. But as I consistently put time in, I started to understand the language of silks and the moves I thought I could never wrap my mind around became second nature to me.
