I was recently chatting with John, the owner and designer of UPKnife and he offered to upgrade the blade on my D4 to his stainless steel blade that would be better for throwing! Threw it for a couple hours it still works like new! Very impressed, most knives with any kind of locking mechanism don't hold up to being thrown. These do and it's such a cool design
