Dusted off an abandoned 2023 project. Rewrote it with distance fields so shapes can grow, merge, and cut into each other like cells in a petri dish. #genartclub #creativecoding

More exploration. Obviously heavily inspired by Neon Genesis Evangelion. Working on the effects still, but I’ve got some cool ideas for more generative interfaces that will be part of this. #genartclub #generativeart #creativecoding

Recent experimentation trying to recreate the feeling of analog ui. Canvas + shaders for the postprocessing. #creativecoding #generative

Been dipping my toes in learning Rust by building a 2D rigid body engine. It compiles to WebAssembly so I can run it from my browser. Getting somewhere, but still a long way to go before I can use it like I intend to. #creativecoding #generative #genartclub

Kraswerk is currently at 442 outputs. Here’s a selection of some that jumped out to me, in no particular order. It’s been fascinating watching the collection take shape, seeing which pieces people evolve, and which ones really resonate. #generativeart #genartclub

Surprise! Kraswerk, my latest project, is now available as an open-form project through my $bs artcoin on @fxhash Kraswerk (meaning "scratchwork") is a project that breaks apart and rebuilds the canvas in many different ways, filling the spaces with detailed pencil-like scratches. The algorithm turns what could be messy scratches by themselves into beautiful visuals, where computational precision meets hand-drawn warmth. This was the first big project I felt compelled to finish after becoming a father, a testament to how deeply it resonated with me during that transformative time. Perhaps there's something fitting about creating art from fragments and scratches while learning to piece together a new life as a parent.

Trying something new by sharing this. Prototyped a little tool this weekend to go through batches of outputs. By liking/disliking them, I can gather insights into what parts of the algorithm I love and hate. Makes it way easier to improve the project and tweak the outputs to my liking. #genartclub
