ellie and ash are my co mommas of the teahouse. ellie is the genius behind our programming. she hikes every morning and is always burning a tapered candle. ash helps tell stories, she captures moments. she’s either on the stage while micah is playing or making noodles at home. I love them so much. blake is a poet, a librarian, always seeking truth in its various forms. he runs open mic and the teahouse poetry club. sher is a poet, a dancer (whenever you’re having a conversation with her), a visionary, a writer and believes in a just and fair world. tanya is a beekeeper in training, a documentarian, an ethnobotanist, a photographer, a planner and heads the annex and all the private gatherings we have. there’s no one like tanya. mahlia is a writer, a poet and oh so careful and thoughtful with their words. when you meet mahlia, you’ll really want to listen to what they say. nico - there’s no hug like a nico hug. she will make you feel held in a way you’ve probably never been held. her eyes twinkle. she hosts community womxns circle w tanya. micah is our OG musician and one of the most talented pianists that I know. he has golden retriever energy. he RADIATES I love you. raen is an angel on this earth. you can hear raens laugh at late night tea and it brightens the entire room. she’s also a poet, and goes out of her way to see u, to really see u and show you that everything’s gonna be ok. jeanette is a soft soothing presence, like water. they also make the best playlists at the teahouse. trang will sit with you for hours at daylight, lending an ear and always willing to go to the top of the mountain with you, wherever that is. julia never lets you feel alone, she will try to understand where you are and how she can meet you there. sasha is our gardener, earth guide, virgo fairy. she brings the most grounding presence and always reminds us of the way of tea. jade helps build the bones of the teahouse, she is serious and playful, and the most balanced presence. shreen is the guide for so many special nights at the teahouse. she’s wild and loving and honest with such a strong presence. 🌿🌿🌿 tbc
